Cosentino’s performances at his run-down old theatre attract the wrong kind of attention when the Ace of Spades dashes through the door, begging to be saved from the clutches of the evil two-headed King! When Cosentino is captured, he’s thrown into the dungeon at the bottom of the castle, from which no one has ever escaped. This would be the trick of his life...if he can pull it off!

James Hart was raised on English comics like The Beano & The Dandy and classic 80s and 90s cartoons. His family then moved to Australia where he continued his love of comics (especially ones from the UK that his Nan continued to post to him) and cartoons and drawing. Upon graduating high school in '98 he studied illustration, electronic design and multimedia for 5 years.

As well as being his final year of study at RMIT, James' illustration career launched into action in 2003 thanks to his illustrations being on the front cover of design magazine 'Desktop'. Since that time he has worked on many projectsfrom toy designs to book illustration to animationfor multiple clients and publishers across Australia, NZ and the UK.

His early publishing work was predominantly in education and textbooks and a large number of reader/chapter books.

This success laid the foundation and drive to pursue projects in the wider publishing world. In 2012 James set out to make this a reality through a huge overhaul in his career. It resulted in him working on the popular animated series of The Day My Butt Went Psycho, designing characters and props for two seasons, as well as the first of 12 books for the successful You Choose series by George Ivanoff for Random House Australia, which won a YABBA award in 2015 and was shortlisted for a 2016 YABBA.

When he's not drawing his favourite things (aliens, robots and monsters!) he's being a dad and husband, watching movies and documentaries and cartoons, drinking coffee, listening to music, gardening, reading... and drinking coffee.
