SARI DRESS UP

The sari is the most popular dress for women of Bangladesh. Traditionally it is one long piece of material, but for ease of use for children, this sari consists of an elasticised skirt and sash.

This outfit will introduce young boys and girls to clothing styles and fabrics of our Asian neighbours. The attention to detail is incredible: this costume could be used as a display piece to expose older children to the wonderful craftsmanship practised in Asia, or to introduce them to the concept of Fair Trade.
