Two Nigerian girls find themselves at the heart of a mysterious conspiracy at an elite British boarding school in this sharply observed, highly entertaining contemporary YA novel brimming with drama, gossip and romance. Bursary student Iyanu is comfortable on the fringes of high-school society, but when she photographs the matchmaker event for the Valentine's Ball, everything changes. Someone steals Iyanu's photographs, spilling the most popular students' secrets - and the prestigious Wodebury Hall School erupts into chaos. Now Iyanu is thrust back into the orbits of her ex-best-friend Quincy and her estranged cousin Kitan, two of the few other black students at Wodebury. Together, they form a sleuth squad to uncover who was behind the stunt, get back Iyanu's stolen work, and bring the culprit to justice - before the web of rumours snares them all. Sensitively handling social issues including racism and queerphobia, Everyone's Thinking It explores the fragility of reputation and the power of community while weaving a hugely entertaining mystery.
